Crazziness :)

Hi ther! my blog readers (smile:)!)....I regard u with utmost respect becoz u read my blog n respect to u will increase if u plz comment on my post and encourage or discourage me to write ....:)

ok this one is to share the life time experience I had on a three day trip to the east coast of US from the west.
p.s.: you can consider this to be a useful writeup to plan ur trip also :D

We started on the Friday evening from LA 29th of Aug to the airport . Just a bag pack with few clothes and a cam in hand our flight was at 9pm from LA to Buffalo...so that nite was to be at the airport n the airplane.
First stop was Atlanta at around 5 next morning. Wat ever sleep we could get we took, 5 to 8 am was at atlanta airport benches...tat was fun ....around 8 realising plp were not gettin place to sit ,before they could crib on us acting like indians we got up :P....
Next the flight was from Atlanta to Buffalo..Here n interesting thing happened...i had no seat assigned to me...confused I went to the attendent saying so...n c my luck the flight was over booked..so they had to offer me seat in the business class....(grinning!)...my frnds wer J :D comfortably seated We reached Buffalo.....

Next morning--First day of the trip 30th Aug at Buffalo....with only two three hours of sleep..all were excited .....took the airport rest rooms to fresh up....changed n obviously no bath possible tat day ....ready to explore.. We took a 12 o'clock metro bus to Niagara falls from the airport...its an hour distance...so caught some sleep in the bus too
p.s. in such trips u need to take sleep as much as and as soon as u can :P

Reached Niagara around 1 ...now we were kind of lost..didnt kno wher to go :((sigh!) so went to a visitor centre....N must tell u that lady ther totally discouraged us saying we are too late n cant get to see any site seeing....But thanks to r full proof plan (relief!)we knew we wer on time n at the rite place.....found our way to the main visitor center to collect our day pass....the discovery pass of a day to niagara is best to take to cover a one day trip

With passes in hand we were set to get on the first ride....The Maid of Mist..its a boat ride to touch the niagara falls and experience the mist generated by the water fall.....it was good... around 300 plp in the same boat...moving toward the fall wearing blue raincoats which was of no use...it was fun.
This getting over hunger knocked us...we had nothing since morning n it was around 2 pm...so moved towards search of food n found a restaurant which was flithy....had some stupid thing there...these plp have no taste...i dont understand how they eat things with such blunt taste :((umm!).....

neways..now energised we moved towards Cave of winds....n the line there :( (ooff!)had to wait in line for 45 mins or so.....but the wait was worth it....Cave of winds was the best part of the trip...here you need to go up the stairs towards the fall n get wet....awesumm...n when you see the full round rainbow cross u through the fall ...the beauty was wid out words....i just loved it...and all of us too.....
wid all that bag n all in our hands and wearing the stupid raincoat we were in the hands of the Niagar falls :)(wow!!)...

All drenched we moved out of the cave and went on the trolley to take a full ride to Niagara spots.Then was the imax theartre which showed the history of Niagara....actual umerica has no history to say..they just make up some or the other...:D.
It was evening we were still wet(oooo!!)..so changed ..remember to wear lite in such trips..u need to carry urself:D it was going dark..ther was nothing much too see...we had are dinner around 8pm..wat in dinner dont ask ..becoz even i dont kno just to keep something in the stomach had watever we got...(ahh!)
Last was the lightning at Niagara..which was beautiful.....the fall lite wid all kinds of colours at nite........n the Canada view from Niagara was also good.Our Niagara trip was going to get over ..booked a cab back to the airport at 12 in the nite....

Must say Niagara is like mini India..it felt like its some tourist spot in India wher umericans hav cum to visit..they say Niagara is a holy place wher evry Indian visits once ...hahah(rolf!)..so true...The taxi drivers are punjabis....some hopeless punjabi nos. were played back to the airport...n now at the buffalo airport..again slept as our flight to NY was at 5 am ......again the airport benches....we wer so tired that those benches felt like beds to sleep on...later..on r way to NY at 5 in the morning 31st Aug...

Second day...31st Aug at NY....at the airport did r morning ablutions(ehh!)....truely we needed a bath to get rid of the tiredness...so moved towrds the hotel which was booked from 2pm that day....lucky got to use some shared washrooms..n we wer all fresh n ready to explore NY by 9 am .....(refreshed!!)
Grapped some food and took the first sub train to Times Square...
p.s. all this needs to be well planned before hand so tat u can save as much time as u can...Our first target was Madam Tussad....i thought it would be boring ...but I njoied it....it was like some of the statues seemed real plp..Some said excuse me or so to some of them....funny part was wen one of us stood next to a real human being thinking a statue an took pics...heheh...tat was too much..coming out ,it felt like all on the roads standing wer statues...really...it had created some kind of illusion...

Next stop was to Rockerfeller tower from wher u see the city of sky scrapper...truly we were very tired here so moved out quickly and went to the Grand Central station ...the place wer Shahrukh n Rani met ...if u see hindi movies...(hahah)...
this was a hindi movie shootig spot....got to eat good indian food here....(ahhhhhh!!) wat a relief..some food...finally..n now needed sleep so moved to check in r hotels as it was past 2 now...we reached the hotel and couldnt refuse the bed...all just jumped into the bed..n sound asleep..(zzzz!)

Woke up at 8 in the eveng although the plan was to move out again at 6pm....but sleep..was a must :)So next move was to the Empire state building...tats also a tall building..wher u r taken to the 88th floor(ooo!) to see NY...the nite view was awesum...All light evry where...it was truely like New York...u wont get such view any wher else...:)
Next was the Times Square...it is one place u cant miss.(wow!)...u will be spell bound by the streets....its lite all with the huge hoardings..
U see Nasdaq..Virgin..yahoo..Paramount...n name it ....all big and bold shining thru the nite...:)but as usual the street was dirty....plp just litter on the road(sigh!)...U just need to see up dont see down..:P..had a good time here...At 12 or so in the nite we some how managed some food and moved back to the hotel for a wonderful sleep at nite :)

Final Day 1st Sept....it was planned before hand for the Lady Liberty stop ...tics were pre booked..so we moved towards the Battery park....On the small ship sailed towrds the Statue...and after some time we were under her nose....it was good...its a gift of france to Us.....Symbol of friendship ,freedom etc...
Moving out, moved towards wall street which is at walkable distance...n then it was Wall Street..the Bull..the New York Stock Exchange...:)It was it..we grabbed our survivor(ahh!) the Sub to eat there and moved towards the Brooklyn Bridge...
The Brooklyn Bridge was the final destination....all wooden bridge.. connecting this part of New York to Brooklyn....it was also good...

Finally few of us were back on our way to the airport to catch the 8 pm flight back to LA.....

The airport experience was interesting....my frnd accompanying me was so lost tat she went to the security check with all her bag with her..n it started beeping
she couldnt understand wat is happening...n all of us even the officers laughing at her..saying madam ur bag needs to go for scanning...its beeping ..u cant cary it along...(teehehehe)....seriously we were so tired an exhausted tat couldnt realise wat was happening it all seemed like we were acting subconsiously

Finally back to LA at 11 in the nite...but the adventure still continues...we took a taxi back home..with no cash in hand....n taxies dont take card...seriously...hahaha.....wen we reached home..the taxi driver got so pissed off wid us...he was like just get down n give how much evr cash u hav in hand...
we handed him all the chillar we had and moved back to our cosy room.....sound asleep...just feeling that all this was a dream...

next morning back to work....still the hang over on us....n r trip gets over....:)

I kno u are bored...but it was n experience of life time for us.....
