Indian Premier League unfolds!!!

Ok...the DLF Indian Premier League is kicked off....n as usual im here wid my views on it...

To start wid ..it looks like a pure money game....money flowing in crores..i wonder how they manage so much...i cant even manage my small salary acct...
just a thought cropped up ...we get calls for credit card and loans frm banks saying "madam u hav good transaction wid r bank we would like to offer u free credit card" hahah...no work as if..
would these players..or for that matter King khan or kingfisher owner get calls tooo " Sir u hav cash flowing in crores..would u like to sponser some credit cards for us "..hahahaha.....
ok...now as i was saying its pure "paisa ka khel" but it has got many pros n cons...

Coming to pros..i guess nothing better example can be of globalisation in sports :)..im think on terms of Thomas Friedman as im reading one of his books ..hehe....well yes...just think..players from around the world...get together..wat would they discuss in the dressing rooms??? so much to learn..we are coming out of our own comfort zones....its a true learning experience specialy for the youngsters...wat a platform to learn on..they couldnt hav got better...

Cons..many..im a good critic..
The mere spirit of the game seems to be lost..might be its just a mind set becoz this is first time ever in history of cricket....but i cant just digest Sachin getting out on Zaheer's ball....whom do I cheer for???
I dont like Ponting and Ganguly in the same team..but feel like supporting the Kolkata Knight riders....
The feel of India playing is just not there....i m not ready to support one state..or for that matter one celebrity..i want the whole Dhoni gang playing the T20 matches...
Australia must be having just like India..many strategies how the deal with the opponent...will they reveal those strategies to win the T20 matches???..I surely believe the players must have been briefed before they go into a cross-cultral dressing room...they must have been warned abt wat to say and wat not to..

How can u really team up wid players like the obnoxious weeds--to say the Kangaroos...self respect man!!

I dont quite like this new look in cricket..though i kno Lalit Modi will say...change is the only constant thing in life..

Lets see..will this survive or not?the stadium is going houseful...plp are enthu..but will that zeal remain??

Lalit Modi is real mind..he has targeted the two most happening things in India....Films Industry and Cricket..bringing them together...is a great step...which must live to the expectations....
