I took the 9pm fight from LA to Orlando..nice Delta airline flight...reached early morning at Orlando airport.
But!!!Had to wait 4 hrs for my brother to arrive from Pheonix. Those 4 hrs were horrible. Almost asleep n not in mood for any breakfast I roamed here and there in the airport. The airport is beautifully built. It was much beter that the LAX airport.Finally my brother was there and we moved to catch r bus for Miami. Our day of 30th was spent in travelling only, it was becoz of not having ful proof plan and some last minute changes. Nonetheless we boarded the bus on time and reached Miami at 5 in the evening.
Unlike anticipated, the weather was hot there. Literally at the peak winter hours on the 30th of Dec both Orlando n Miami were 80 degrees F.
hhmmmm! np! ok we reached r pre booked hotel Red roof Inn. reaching here also has a story.
After landing Miami, as per my plan I had taken bus route and other printouts to go to the hotel.My brother totally relying on me went as I said. We took the first bus and reached a stop from where supposedly we were to walk few steps and the hotel would be ther.But it didnt happen so! this bus stop was some place far off from the real hotel..........Alas!!... With the help of some security personels we were asked to go back to the airport and take another bus.
Then we decided to call the hotel and ask exact way to reach (which shuld have been done earlier!!) and guess wat the hotel person said ;"Madam we have free shuttles running from the airport to the hotel, you can take them "
Sigh!! I cursed my internet search to reach the hotel and went back to the airport to catch the shuttle.Finally after 2 hrs n so of hasel , on top of that both of us being tired! we reached the hotel in the evening of 30th dec.
Now dead tired and sleepy ; we ordered some pizzas from Papa Jones. ( the pizza was baddddd !! n the buffalo wings sucked !) finally..in the nite Swati and Vijay joined us in the hotel...then we were sound asleep..waiting to rise early for the next big day :)..
31st was Keywest tour ..n water sports day. Vijay had got a car ..so we were going to travel Miami to Keywest which was a 4 hrs run..Keywest is the southernmost part of US and is known for its beaches and coral reefs. ....
Miami to Keywest route covers 42 bridges over the Ocean.The Drive was smooth ...early morning had all fog and later by 9 it was sunny.We reached the Sunset water sports spot which was booked for do it all water sports for all 4 of us.That was the start .... the catarman was ready with around 60 plp on board all ready to get into the water. It took us to the some point in the middle of the sea. We were made to life jackets and moved in the water. Must say water was dirty..n so salty..as if to was going to be sweety..but when we tasted that salty water....all went yak!!!hehehe...
Rest aside !! The speed ride on the wave runner ( water scooter )!!

the tiring kayaking in the ocean...!!
the snorkel part ( for some) to look into deep sea creatures...
jet sking...n finally the flight high in the sky..soaring up...in the parachute...all was awesum...just too good and all fun..
You just need to overlook your tiredness....sun burns...and nausea if any !The water sport trip got over at 5 pm... we were very tired! all exhausted! immediate fresh water bath was required....we saw the southermost point of keywest..and was on our way back to Miami..new year celebrations were awaiting.
31st Nite at Miami@ South beach...we were back to hotel around 10pm..totally exhausted..but enthu nevr dies.. had fresh water bath..n all dressed we moved to South beach for the countdown to begin :)South beach is the spot in Miami...When the clock struck 12...there was splendid fireworks just above our heads..
The black sky was all lite with bright colors and creative patterns....all were shouting Happy New Year !! I had nevr seen fireworks so close and so loud.!!! it was the nite!!
New year celebration did nt get over yet..how can I forget to mention the $80 Jhonny Rocket Burger which we had ...hehehe...the place is shit expensive...only we could get free beer..rest is paid heavyly.
It was strange we couldnt wish happy new year at that hour to neone else other than us 4. The time difference evywhere is so strange. Plp in India had the celebration fews hours back...some in west coast of us will have after some hrs.. Its just too uninviting..but the best part is the celebration goes long according to all time zones. This reminds me of my birthday which I celebrated both in India n Us time zone :)
Oh My the blog is becoming so big !! but the trip was also that big to write.!
ok next day was @ Miami Beach...wat a beach...breathtaking..all blue water and clear sky...it was the beach one had imagined to see...we had wonderful time there....
Our Miami Trip quite ends here...there were many other incidents but I cant write evrything :( or else definetly you will stop reading...dont know how many have already stopped :(
