Mumbai experience.......

Well well.....One city I dreaded the most...MUUUMMMBBBAAIIII.......

Some years back...It was always in my mind Mumbai is a tough place to stay...Local trains were always a no no......Wen I was given an option for Mumbai..it took me 10 mins to check that option...parents not ready to leave me alone in this most happening city of India....Papa not speaking to me until I change my Mumbai option..But somehow I convinced myself first and then my family...n landed mumbai on 28th July 2006...

Very true----aankho mein sapne liye ghar se hum chal toh diye---It was like MUMBAI.....
Had to start a new life wid new people...new home.....new work.....everything seemed challenging.....anxiety level increased.....But the show must go on..... n so must the journey.... so Here I share some of the things Mumbai has given me in this one yr.

----The first day I saw the crowd in Local trains n me being Demophobic...My reaction--"I'll nevr board this train"
My roommate says..madam local is Mumbai ki jaan...u cant escape this.....I say ,lets see..

Believe me I have travelled from one end of mumbai to the other in Mumbai ki jaan n no. of times.....In this one year I have stood in the queue for hours...I have managed with the demophobic feeling in the trains......n yes Locals are indespensible

Two things can stop Mumbai the BEST buses n The Local trains....

----Happy go lucky attitude of plp here is simply commendable.......Plp jes dont care wat others think..I have always been a very self conscious kind of person....but Mumbai has taught me the Dont worry Be Happy attitude.....

----Night life...however unsafe u say but Mumbai is the safest place to be.....yes provided you kno ur limits.....

Independence......fun......sorrow......laughter.....cries...all in one package is Mumbai......

----Its not easy to match wid the pase of life here.........no one has a min time for u....need to get n appointment even for petty issues...

---Money is a matter to think for in mumbai......being the financial capital ther is tremendous liquidity.....i havent yet got the hick of money so will not comment on this...

---Families are such that father meets children only on weekends....Friday nite to sunday nite is always holiday ....families plan outings...frnds have their own plans.....in all the whole of mumbai is out for some or the other thing.....those at home are on their cowsy beds fast asleep....
But wen this weekend finishes.....everyone back to their daily routine...slogging the whole week.....Churchgate to Borivali......jes having a wait for the next weekend........

To say in all..... life in Mumbai is happening....though very mechanical but a place to be in.......It mite be boring if u are alone.....Its not a city for loners......u will be lost in the crowd....

I would nevr like to settle here but would always advice a person to experience this.......

Its a simple salute to MUMBAI from a simple person living in Mumbai from almost a year...
